Father Jon M. Coventry recently celebrated the three year anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.  He brings a unique blend of spiritual and professional expertise to his congregation. Before entering the priesthood, he had a distinguished 20 year career as a licensed clinical counselor, which offers him a distinctive perspective

Father Jon M. Coventry recently celebrated the three year anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.  He brings a unique blend of spiritual and professional expertise to his congregation. Before entering the priesthood, he had a distinguished 20 year career as a licensed clinical counselor, which offers him a distinctive perspective on pastoral care and community support. 


His journey to the priesthood reflects a deep commitment to faith and service, combining his extensive experience in mental health with his dedication to religious leadership. His background allows him to approach pastoral duties with empathy and understanding, providing a compassionate and informed presence for his community.

Anne B. Jolly is the Episcopal bishop of Ohio, making her the first woman to hold that position. She was elected as Bishop Coadjutor of the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio on November 19, 2022, during the 206th annual convention in Cleveland, Ohio, at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower.

Anne B. Jolly is the Episcopal bishop of Ohio, making her the first woman to hold that position. She was elected as Bishop Coadjutor of the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio on November 19, 2022, during the 206th annual convention in Cleveland, Ohio, at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower. 


Jolly succeeded Mark Hollingsworth, Jr., who retired in July 2023, and she was consecrated as bishop on April 29, 2023, by Michael Curry.


Before her election, Jolly had served as a priest in several congregations in parishes in Austin, Texas; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Greenville, South Carolina; and Deerfield, Illinois. She was ordained as a priest in 2014 by Dena Harrison.


Jolly holds a BA from Furman University and an MDiv from the School of Theology at Sewanee. She is married to David Jolly, and they have three children.

In her role, Jolly emphasizes creative vision, change management, collaboration, teaching of spiritual practices, and exploring ways for congregations to thrive.
